AI draws the blueprint. You build the home.
An AI can draw a perfect blueprint, but it’s always generic.
It has structure, but no soul.
It’s a house, not a home.
The real work isn’t editing that lifeless plan.
It’s about taking it as a starting point and using your own expertise to build something with character, something that earns a reader’s trust.
The most effective method isn’t about just editing AI text and ‘make it your own’, whatever that means.
It’s about using its draft to get you started, then stepping in as the true author.
The Blank Page Method
Use the AI draft as a summary, not a foundation to be fixed.
Step 1: Read for Core Ideas. Scan the AI text once or twice to understand its main points.
Step 2: Close the Original. Put the AI draft away and don’t look at it again. This is critical for preventing its generic voice from influencing your own.
Step 3: Write from Scratch. Open a blank document and write from your own expertise. Your knowledge will naturally fill the gaps and build something far stronger and more authentic.
Anyone can generate text.
But not everyone builds something that earns trust.
The final piece should reflect your authority, not the AI’s.
