Can you still be authentic in an AI world?

Scott from Quora asks:

How do you see the concept of authenticity changing for creators as Al tools become more integrated into content creation?

When it comes to the actual output, AI is going to help people who have a great story but lack the technical writing skills to tell it well.

It brings their message up to speed, organizing thoughts that might otherwise be hard to follow or messy.

This is a massive help for people who don't have the time to get good at writing but still have a message worth sharing.

Authenticity then shifts: it’s no longer about how the story is expressed, but about the person who lived through it.

If you’re suffering from a B12 deficiency and you share your journey (the food, the supplements, the lifestyle changes) your transformation remains authentic.

Even if the output is formatted by an AI, the reality of your experience is still yours.

Most people using AI reasonably don’t just take the output at face value. They edit, they refine prompts, and they add their own finishing touches.

The AI provides the structure, but the rawness comes from what happened to the creator.

The transformation is the new authenticity.
