Does AI content actually get results?
This Q from Quora asks:
Do brands use AI-tools for content generation? If they do, do they get their desired results?
Yes, they do but usually for one of two very different reasons.
Based on the clients I’ve worked with, the success of AI content depends entirely on what the brand is actually trying to solve:
Building a Content Library as a Trust Asset. No one likes an empty shelf. If a customer visits your site and sees two posts from 2022 and a sales page, they leave. They use AI to fill that gap. If you have a library of answers to questions your audience is already asking, they start to trust you.
This is hard to track because you can’t measure trust on a dashboard. But it shows up eventually in brand mentions, higher order value, and 'warmer' consultation calls.
Chasing Search Engine Metrics. This is purely metric-driven. It gets intense (URL slugs, keyword density, and competitor analysis just to name a few). The problem is that these brands often prioritize the metric over their own authority.
They get the pageviews and newsletter signups they want, but if they skipped experiential authority, it's hard to help people trust your brand after reading just one content piece.
