Doubtful about starting?
Kai from Quora asked:
Why do beginners hesitate to publish their first blog?
When I first started, I hesitated because I was overthinking everything.
I assumed I needed a massive plan and become some sort of recognized expert status before I could hit publish. But then, I stumbled on a hypothetical question that changed everything:
"If your boss asked you to create a course based on your current job, and the deadline was tomorrow, what would you do?"
That was my 'aha' moment.
I realized I felt completely competent when I was doing the work for a boss (I’ve been in my role for 4+ years). But for some reason, when I tried to do it for myself (aka acting as my own boss) I suddenly felt like I needed a PhD and six months of planning.
It was a self-limiting belief. I was waiting for a boss to give me permission to show people what I already knew and had been doing for years.
Once I realized the challenge was entirely mental, the hesitation disappeared.
Thusly, my blog was born the next day.
