How often should you publish?
Jacob from Quora asks:
How often should you publish new content on your website or blog? What are the benefits of doing so?
As often as you can be genuinely helpful.
If you’ve been a chef at a restaurant for 8 years, you have a deep well of knowledge.
You aren't about recipes, you know what the kitchen looks like at 3 AM on Friday.
Since that info is already in your head, you could temporarily post daily without burning out.
You’re just downloading your brain.
On the other hand, if you’re an enthusiast (no credentials, no following, just a passion) your schedule will look different.
You'll learn something, test it then document.
Testing whether a common knowledge hack actually works takes time.
It could take a week or three months.
Don't try to hit an arbitrary goal of posting X number of times in Y period.
Post when you’ve finished testing.
We don’t need more theory or hearsay.
We need people who have actually done the work.
The benefits of this approach:
People trust experience over AI generated content (or unsupported data in general).
When you share the realities of something, people recognize this and invest in the process too.
You won't burn out trying to hit a certain number.
