I have answered over 500 questions on Quora.
Here's how I was able to sustain that:
- I didn't overthink my answers.
What I can control is to share what I know.
Trying to optimize for every little thing assumes that you can control everything.
Sounds absurd but that’s how most people fall into the ‘endless optimization’ trap.
- I chose the path of helpfulness.
I made sure that every answer was going to be helpful to the person asking the question.
You don't always need a 2500 word blog post.
- I chose questions that were relevant to my expertise / experience.
That means sharing what I did in my day job, my past work with websites and not just theory.
