Juggling many topics and unsure which one to choose?
Jason from Quora asks,
What direction should I pursue based on my blog dopsychology, Jason Bulsa?
Looking at your 830 videos on YT, it’s clear you’ve covered a massive range of subjects.
My first piece of advice is to look for the topic you actually enjoy most. The one you can stay consistent with long-term. Even if you cover a dozen different things, they can still work if they are tied together by a general theme.
Right now, you’re talking about Grok, groceries, food, and e-waste. That feels scattered, but you can help YouTube find the right audience for you by fitting those into one bucket. For example, if your theme is Modern Consumerism, then food, e-waste, and AI all suddenly make sense together from that perspective.
You also have to consider your sphere of authority. You mentioned being a SpaceX Accredited investor, but your recent blog posts also focus on mental illness.
To find your direction, you need to decide if you want to be the 'investor who talks about the psychology of tech,' or if those two worlds stay separate. Finding the bridge between your authority and your personal interests will give you a better idea.
