Repurposing content for other platforms?
A Q from Quora asks,
When repurposing content for different platforms or audiences, what is the single most important technique you use to make it feel fresh and unique?
You could call it a technique, but I’ll call it a reframe because it sounds cooler.
When I’m repurposing for Threads, LinkedIn, Substack, or Facebook, I don’t try to be clever.
I focus on clarity.
The single thing I do is ask myself: "How would my ideal reader phrase this specific problem as a question?"
By turning a tip into the exact question my reader is already asking in their head, two things happen:
I’m forced to use their language, not mine.
The content stays targeted on one specific pain point.
To most people, the post will read plainly.
But to my intended reader, it’ll feel like someone finally understands their pain.
That’s the angle I’m going for.
