Stop Trying to Be 'Interesting'
I never try to compete with AI on volume. I can’t.
AI generates text at the speed of thought.
The grammar is perfect.
The flow is logical.
If you try to out-write a machine, you will lose.
But AI is terrible at meaning.
It can’t see the specific person sitting behind the screen, frustrated by a specific problem.
That's where you win.
Too many community builders burn out trying to keep content "fresh" or "engaging."
That's a trap.
It assumes the need for content comes from you.
Real engagement starts with the reader’s pain.
Think of a leaking pipe in your kitchen.
Water is ruining your floor. You're panicking.
In that moment, do you need a plumber with a "fresh" perspective?
Do you need a viral, entertaining opinion on pipes?
No.
You need someone to hand you a wrench.
When you answer a burning question, you don't need to force engagement.
The person asking is already paying attention.
Stop trying to be a performer.
Be the plumber.
