The primary benefit of reading blogs/articles
This question comes from Quora goes:
Are there any benefits to reading blogs?
Yes. The biggest benefit is that you gain instant access to years of someone else’s expertise without having to spend years becoming an expert yourself.
Think about it this way: You could technically learn to build a garden from scratch on your own. You’d make mistakes, kill a few plants, and eventually figure it out.
But what if you found a blog by a gardener who has been in the dirt for 7 years? They’ve already made the mistakes. They’ve done the trial and error for you.
Because blogging is text-based, it’s one of the easiest ways for these hidden experts to share what they know. Not everyone has the time, equipment, or desire to produce polished videos.
But a person with a wealth of knowledge can write a post from anywhere. That text format allows the real experts (the ones too busy working to be influencers) to pass their authority on to you.
Without blogs, we’d lose out on those actually good family recipes, we’d kill more plants by uprooting them at the wrong time, and we’d constantly be hitting pain points that could have been avoided if we’d just had a five-minute head start from someone who’s been there before.
