Want to know what content your audience likes?
This Q from Quora asks:
How do you decide what type of interactive content best connects with your specific audience?
Mostly, it’s just something you learn through testing.
But as a lifelong learner of your own craft, you’re picking up new insights every day.
You’ve probably had those moments where you thought, ‘Man, this would be so much easier to grasp as a Venn diagram.’
That’s your signal.
When you create, you are actually a member of your own audience.
The problem with most online content is that it’s distant.
People speak to an audience instead of with them.
They act like outsiders with no skin in the game.
But when you’re part of the crowd (just someone who found a solution) you know which tools helped you get there.
If a calculator helped you solve a problem faster than a paragraph did, give your audience a calculator.
Beyond your own intuition, your audience will literally tell you.
Use newsletters, Reddit, email surveys.
They’ll tell you what’s easy to digest and what isn't.
Just don’t overthink it.
If the info is useful, it’ll help someone.
Just remember that you help no one by keeping your post in your drafts.
Publish. Improve. Repeat.
