Want to use AI for script writing?
This Q from Quora asks:
How can coaches use ChatGPT to write a webinar script that actually converts without sounding like an AI bot?
There are really only two ways to go about this:
- Generate the whole thing and then fix it. You feed ChatGPT your goals and key points, tell it what tone you want, and let it spit out a full script.
The reality: This is definitely the fastest way to get a draft, but it’s also the easiest way to end up sounding like a bot.
The headache: You usually spend so much time humanizing the text and stripping out the AI-speak that you might as well have written it yourself. Plus, if you don't already know what makes a script good, it's hard to know what to fix.
- Use AI to give you an outline. This is what I actually recommend. Ask ChatGPT for a solid, detailed outline based on your info, then you go in and write the actual lines.
Why this works: You’re using the AI to organize your thoughts and make sure you aren't missing anything, but the actual voice is 90% yours.
The result: It sounds like you because it is you. The AI just did the heavy lifting of figuring out the flow and the structure.
I always go with the second option.
You get the speed and creativity of AI without losing the personality that actually makes people want to work with you.
