What’s the biggest challenge new bloggers face in 2025?

Thought I'd share my answer below
AI overviews and AI tools will make it less likely that people will visit your site.
And if your basis for success is pageviews, site visits or any other traffic-related metric, you’ll be dissapointed.
Mainly because those things are outside of your control.
But secondly, because of AI tools.
Focus on things within your control: good quality work, write about things that people need help with which are within your expertise / authority, then give it at least a year.
Once you have clear authority, Google and AI will start to recommend you.
Might not increase website traffic but your name starts to appear in front of people more and more often.
This is part of just good brand principles if you want to look it up.
The name doesn’t matter too much.
All content without expertise / authority, is hard to recommend by people then by Google / AI tools.
