It depends on the reasons you want to get into it.
If you want to start a blog because you went through a life transformation, experienced something unique, or have work experience that establishes you as an authority, then yes.
Blogging’s one of the best ways to share your experience so others can learn from what you went through.
If you want to start a blog purely to make money?
You’ll still need to do the above.
You can't skip the authority part.
So, the "right" reason is relative.
It’s purely based on what you want to get out of it.
Reality check: Blog posts need time to cook.
There’s thousands of pieces of content being published online every hour.
This means that for people to find your blog in a sea of content, it won't happen within a month (sometimes longer), unless you run paid ads to kickstart traffic.
However, if you want to treat it as a portfolio, that’s wonderful.
It could open you up to better opportunities in the future if your work meets expectations.
So, blogging (like any skill or trade) is a personal choice.
